Acrobat Reader DC has been released, I've tried it and it does upgrade the add-on as well but unfortunately doesn't fix the PDF issue. I've also tried running Adobe's "Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs" and then re-installed Adobe Reader without any luck. I was hoping it would clean out some possible registry entries
