🦓 16 9 Vs 16 10 Gaming

However16:9 is better for gaming in my opinion. 16:10 is good if you just read news websites and stuff or emails or other basic tasks. 16:9 or 21:9 is good for watching movies or playing games. just because 16:10 has more pixels than 16:9 resolutions, doesn't always mean it's better for everything. I have a multi-monitor setup, Asyou can see from the above resolutions, you lose a considerable amount of vertical screen real-estate with 16:9 compared to 16:10. This has real knock-on effects when it comes to viewing photos Idon't think i can ever go back to 16:9. The fps drop isnt too bad either. 5-15 from what i could see, but thats only between destiny 2 and pubg. Running an i5-4670k and a RX-580 on a 2560x1080 75hz monitor. Pubg stays at 75fps about 80% of the time, and destiny varies from 55-75, depending on where i am in-game. WhileI prefer 16:10 in general (work etc), I usually play Dota 2 windowed (borderless) in the corresponding 16:9 resolution (1920x1080) since you see a tad more. I really do not notice the 120 lines difference when playing, but would really Samsungs superultrawides also allow for Picture by Picture mode splitting if you want. It supports both 21:9 ultrawide + 11:9 and 2x 16:9 setups. I really like the ultrawide layout for productivity because the 11:9 1760x1440 portion is a perfect side monitor I wish I could find in a separate display. 169 vs 21:9 Dilemma. I’m in a dilemma and It’s getting harder as I don’t have experience with monitors. I am currently using the LG and I’m liking it to so far but I prefer the better option. Both monitors are on sale but I am getting a pretty good deal on the LG for $370 ($280 off). The Gigabyte is on sale too for $500 ($100 Off). 1 HI I'm going to buy new 1080p monitor which will be focused on gaming and video editing. i'd prefer to have 120hz or 144hz monitor, but which is better 169 monitors beat 16:10 monitors when watching 16:9 TV and movies. If that's most or all of what you'll be doing, 16:9 is the winner. 16:10 is better for everything else (office work, games, video editing, Internet browsing etc) so if one of those is your focus, or you're after a general all-rounder, get 16:10.
