3. Blockage or Obstruction. Your ice maker uses its water line. The fridge takes water from this dedicated line, feeds it into ice molds, and then freezes it to produce ice. Sometimes, the water line may become clogged with debris, especially if connected to a hard water source. Sometimes, the water line can freeze closest to the ice maker unit
You may have put hot or too many items into the refrigerator. The door may not have been closed properly. The door gasket may be damaged. The refrigerator may not be well-ventilated. There may be insufficient clearance between the refrigerator and the surfaces immediately beside and above. The temperature control dial may not be properly set.
To fix this press and hold the child lock button for a few seconds to turn it OFF. 4. Low water pressure. Your Samsung refrigerator water and ice dispenser are not working maybe because of less water pressure. Water pressure is an important factor for the ice maker to produce perfect ice cubes and crushed ice.

The ice maker will not make ice if it thinks the water filter needs replacement. This applies even if you don't use a water filter and are using a ByPass Filter (blank). To reset the water filter: open the fridge doors and on the top control panel Press and hold change filter button for 3 seconds.
Ice Bin: Make sure the ice bin is set correctly underneath the ice maker. Place bin so scoop is on the right side (left side for Quad Models). The ice bin sits directly under the ice maker on the top left side of freezer. Ice cubes sticking in Ice Bin: Remove ice storage bin, loosen cubes, and remove clumped ice. Replace ice storage bin.
